LANDLITE EBT-226 electronic ballast 2x26W G24q-3 (PL-C / DUE, 4-pin) – 01CEL037B

The LANDLITE EBT-226 (article no. 01CEL037B, label: PL EB2×26W) electronic ballast operates two 26 W G24q-3, 4-pin compact fluorescent lamps (PL-C / Dulux D/E / DUE). It is the original spare part for the LANDLITE DL-526 (04WC131) recessed downlight and the FL-226 floodlights, and replaces a failed ballast in any 2x26W G24q-3 luminaire.

• other 26 W, G24q-3, 4-pin compact fluorescent lamps

Not suitable for 2-pin G24d-3 lamps (e.g. PL-C 26W/2P, Dulux D 26 W): these have a starter built into the base and do not work on electronic ballasts.

Wiring

• Mains side: L, N and protective earth (⏚) terminals
• Lamp side: output terminals 1–6, wired as shown on the label
• Wire cross-section: 0.5–1 mm², strip length: 7–9 mm
• Output voltage: 350 V

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician with the power switched off.

What should I check before replacing?

On the old ballast label: lamp type (PL-C / G24q-3, 4-pin) and power (2 × 26 W) – and that the 103 × 96 × 30 mm ballast fits in the luminaire.

Which luminaire is it the original part for?

The LANDLITE DL-526 (04WC131) 2x26W recessed downlight and the FL-226 floodlights.

Can it run LED G24q lamps?

Only G24q-3 LED retrofit lamps that their manufacturer explicitly approves for operation on electronic (HF) ballasts.
