Under the Ecodesign Regulation (EU) 2019/2020, compact fluorescent lamps with integrated ballast (CFLi) may no longer be placed on the EU market for the first time since 1 September 2021 – neither from new production nor as new imports. In addition, under Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2022/276 amending Annex III of the RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU), the exemption for mercury in single-capped compact fluorescent lamps also expired on 24 February 2023.
Existing stock already placed on the market may still be sold. This product is available from our existing stock only and cannot be reordered – while stocks last. As a modern, mercury-free alternative we recommend LED light sources.
The CFL-GX53-7W is an energy-saving compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) for flat recessed downlights and fittings with GX53 base.
