This notice refers to the conventional T5/T8 fluorescent tube supplied with the luminaire.
Under Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2022/284 amending Annex III of the EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU), the exemption for mercury in conventional linear T5 and T8 fluorescent tubes expired on 24 August 2023. Since 25 August 2023 these tubes may no longer be placed on the EU market for the first time – neither from new production nor as new imports from outside the EU.
Existing stock already placed on the market may still be sold and used. This product is available from our existing stock only and cannot be reordered – while stocks last. As a modern, mercury-free alternative we recommend LED tubes.
