Under Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2022/284 amending the Annex to the EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU), the exemption for mercury-containing conventional straight T5 and T8 fluorescent tubes expired on 24 August 2023. Since 25 August 2023 these fluorescent tubes may no longer be placed on the EU market for the first time – neither from new production nor through new imports from outside the EU.
Sale and use of existing stock already placed on the market remain permitted. This product is available exclusively from our existing stock and cannot be restocked – while stocks last. As a modern, mercury-free alternative we recommend LED tubes.
